Chapter 26 - Be strict
The alarm was an ear-splitting wail. It rose to a peak and then ebbed and rose to a peak again, undulating like a wave and all the while ringing her brain out like a sponge. The glare of the morning sun hit her eyelids to awaken her.
Turning of the alarm Ananya moved closed to her husband and snuggled into his chest.
The metallic clatter of pots and vessels, the aroma of seasoning from the kitchen next door. These are the usual morning greetings when the houses are too close to each other.
Mornings are not as cold as you would probably wake up to, you clutching and holding onto a cuddle worthy human. Ananya's hand moved around Vivek's, warm and soft body. In seconds, her body is moulded to his, sharing her body heat.
"I don't want to wake up," Ananya mumbled, pulling the comforter closer.
